My ironic/sarcastic comments are obviously not about what *most*
people are *doing*, but about what *some* (for SVSVO "some") zealots
are *preaching*.

I cannot think of a single person who is "preaching" low carb eating
simply for the sake of low carb eating in this NG. Of course, I do
have some of the resident religious obsessives killfiled.

I can think of quite a few.

Really? People who preach that everyone should eat low carb as a matter of
principle, with no regard to their personal BG control needs? I can't
think of one. Please name them.

OTOH, we do see posts from people repeatedly claiming that high-carb diets
reduce insulin resistance, totally ignoring the blood-glucose effects.

Really!? Who!? [1]

Nobody in his or her right mind is going to subject his/her body to the
post-prandial spikes (and resulting higher A1c levels) experienced from
high-carb "balanced" meals on the theory that they can reduce insulin
resistance this way.

Non sequitur! With your wording, you're doing quite a nice Susan (et
al [2]) impersonation.

[1] These are them there rethorical thingies, because there are no such
posts/people in this group.

[2] Et al are currently mostly 'absent'.

I didn't name it as it deserves, a false dichotomy.
