Stop Using Insulin Pump
?I have been on a pump for approximately 16 years and I am 75 years old with
an A1c of 6.3 but this week I have been advised by my secondary Insurance
that coverage will no longer take place and since I am a T2 Medicare does
not support me, I don't meet the C-peptide minimum either so, I am planning
to see my endocrinologist and change over to insulin shots - my question:
for those of you that drop the pump for insulin shots how is it working and
what advise can you provide me with? I would really appreciate some
suggestions.
Jim
