Hi Pacca,

I'm 75 and also have muscle cramps, as you describe. Sometimes several
times a night, sometimes none for weeks. The calves are the worst! I follow
the offending muscle up to where it attaches, just below the knee, then do
a DEEP massage at that point. That usually clears it for the nonce. If not,
I too have found that a brief walk to the bathroom and back (with a seated
pause) does. I've got my A1c down to 5.5. The only diabetes med I take is a
Thai herb. My former MD prescribed an Rx for the cramps, but when I checked
the side effects, I opted not to fill the prescription. Sorry for the long
reply. ;-)
