Dec. 1, 2010 -- Diabetes cuts about 8.5 years off the life span of
the average 50-year-old compared to a 50-year-old without diabetes,
new research indicates.
I love how the food pictures prominently feature things like bread,
pasta, and cake.
Huh? *What* "food pictures"? The article has one picture and that's
of a guy with a fat belly.
Sorry, the food pictures are seen if you click the link regarding how to
control your blood sugar and insulin at the bottom of the article.
But if your intention was to build yet another conspiracy theory,
then you managed very well. Our resident kook fell for it, hook, line
and sinker.
No such intention. The pictures are there, and accompany their advice on how
to control BG. Oh, and the first picture prominently features a loaf of
bread, surrounded by grapes, a banana, dried apricots, and pasta, in
addition to a few low glycemic items such as an apple and a wedge of brie.
