Why do you take metformin *and* ALA? And why take *either*,
considering your excellent HbA1c?
OTOH, my doctor also wanted me to taper down my metformin slowly,
instead of stopping it alltogether. (My HbA1c went from 5.7 (4 months
ago) to 5.3, and I was on 1000mg (2*500) metformin a day.)
