I think all 3 kinds of tests should be used for a definitive diagnosis.
You had one too? I'm surprised.
Here they are commonly given to all pregnant women after a certain stage in
their pregnancy. Mine came earlier because I had sugar in my urine.
They are supposed to be given as part of a physical to anyone over the age
of 40. Perhaps earlier if there is a family history of diabetes.
