I did see and did know that high BG can cause high cholesterol. Or perhaps
it is not that simple. Such as eating too many fast acting carbs can raise
triglycerides.

Anyway... Can someone provide a cite that proves high cholesterol causes
high BG?

Thanks!

Yes Julie, and that was me, I called Q in this newsgroup.

I think you are a master in misinterpreting information.

I said, and feel encouraged to read this information back, I said that
there is a relation.

LDL particle size and insulin resistance are related.

I also cited three references in the thread newbie that investigated the
relation between LDL particle size and insulin sensitivity.

It is maybe not exactly the same as saying that fat concentration in
blood cause high BG.

No, it says that there are subjects in a research group that show a
statistical relation between insulin sensitivity and LDL particle size.

Learn to read rather to dream will you?

Q

I am still reading some of the links you provided and I am yet to find
agreement with your original statements. What you said above is not
quite the same as the comment Julie objected to, which was:

Maybe your cholesterol levels prevent the insulin to do its work,
getting your cholesterol under control might be a solution for you.

Followed by this in your response to her:

Maybe you never heard that high blood fat concentrations prevent insulin
to reach the cells that need it? Cholesterol and diabetes are related.

The subject is interesting and worth pursuing. Thank you for raising
it, but neither of those statements have the same meaning as

High blood fat is not the same as high concentration of LDL
sub-particles. I am well aware of the difference as I read a lot on
it, in the knowledge that I have high LDL but low VLDL (and good HDL
and trigs). The difference can be vital.

So, before you suggest that others "Learn to read rather to dream" it
may be well worth checking what you actually wrote and whether it is
what you meant to write.
