If your tax situation is simple enough to actually use TurboTax without
fighting their one-size-fits-all pathway, then it's simple enough to e-file for free. Federal at least. Most places charge for the state,
but then some states have their own free filing.
One thing that infuriated me about the two online systems I tried
is that they insisted that I type in boatloads of info that the
IRS already has--name & address of sender, name and address of receiver,
and all of the dollar amounts from every W-2 (and we had five of them).
And then I thought I could save a stamp this year by filing an extension
online. .... (http://Ideas.Lang-Learn.us/WWW?itemid=3029)
