The syringe needle is in the vial. When i am filling the syringe,
there is a constant stream of bubbles in the vial. It is funny to
watch. Like a waterfall. There is froth in the vial. What causes
this? Is the insulin any good? The vial is only about two weeks old.
Are you injecting air into the vial before withdrawing the Novolog?
If not you are creating a vacuum inside the vial. Draw the syringe
plunger down to the mark for the amount of Novolog you intend
to inject, insert the syringe needle into the vial and push the plunger
down. Now with the needle still in the vial draw out the amount of
Novolog you require. If you start to get bubbles simply push the
plunger home and then repeat the process. This will clear any
air bubbles.
