I paid into Social Security starting in 1947. Over the years, Congress
kept raiding the cookie jar. Now, I pay Income Tax on my Social
Security benefits and pay a monthly premium for my Medicare. I guess
that I am one of the older folks against government run "Socialist"

Problem is Nick you worked too long as did I. Now many want our illegals
to be entitled to all these "benefits" also. And they can't write a bill
that will exclude them since they know the ACLU will challange bill and
our beloved Supreme Court will say you can't discriminate versus illegal
kids, like the schools can't also. In short we are becoming a Socialist
country more and more.
