Re: Niacin for lowering cholesterol?



I took 1000 mg of rx Niapsan for 10 yrs but the insurance made it too
costly. I've slowly worked my way up to 750 mg of otc niacin with only a
baby aspirin. I hope to get up to 1000 mg but no more. The last time I
took a reg aspirin in March I had super bad petechiae. Aspirin does
prevent the flushing.
