Sometimes you can turn off the touch pad in the BIOS but sometimes
you can't. I got some fairly heavy plastic sheet, cut it to size, and
taped it over the touch pad to avoid the problem of moving the cursor
when I didn't intend to.
Thanks. I thought I had found a way to turn it off in the options, but
it had no effect. I may have to use your method. It really can be a
pain because the pad is almost always touched by my right thumb as I
two-finger type. I'm trying to re-train myself to hold the thumb up
higher, but it's a tedious process.
