: T1s, and T2s on both sides of my extended family. Of my generation, so far, I have one first cousin

I wonder if the enormous efort to shrink the number of smokers has
contributed to the obesity epidemic. I recall that I gained quite a bit
of weight when I quit smoking some 37 years ago. It is a common
occurrance. I don't have any yen to smoke adn I eat well fordiabetic
numbers, but I can't seem to get the weight down after the big drop of
about 65 pounds 23 years ago.
