At Best Buy, you can get something good for a good price.
You can also get lied to and sold a Piece of Crap (PC) by
a salesperson who recognizes you're not an expert and
talks you into what gets him the best commission.

Last time I was in Best Buy, I heard a salesmen in the MP3 area
telling lies about iPods, then went over to the Apple area and
heard lies about Windows. That wasn't long after my co-worker
got seriously burned on a PC purchase there.

If you know anyone who is competent in the area, whom you can trust,
you should ask him or her to help you make a good choice.
