Exactly. If you were to eat zero carbs, other stuff would be converted.
BTW - it has been observed that there are essential fats and there are

I beg to differ with you saying there aren't any essential carbs. Ask any
high impact sports person what they eat. Yes, they eat quite a bit of
protein, but they eat more complex carbs than protein. It's a fine

are an important part of fueling our body. You simply can't eat enough
protein to fuel a body to run a marathon.

So, which of the people posting here is a high impact sports person

I never said anyone here was a high impact sports person.

Reisa?

What is that?

Reisa, also known as RK, was a long time poster to this newsgroup who
provided a lot of good information and help to people. Alan didn't
like her because she didn't put up with his Alanhooey. He has a
conspiracy theory that you are really RK posting under another
account. Of course, you're not, but spreading these kinds of lies to
discredit a poster they don't agree with and pointing fingers happens
in here quite often, mostly by the same few people. Never with any
kind of proof, just accusation. You made the mistake of not agreeing
with their "carb theories" and therefore you are suspect. It's
unfortunate, but welcome to the tin foil wearin' nerve center called
a.s.d. It's like Salem, Mass in the 1690's...only without all the
pointy hats and buckles on the shoes. :)
