Not for nothing, but have you ever heard of portion control?

16 oz of anything is an awful lot of food, especially when it's a
dessert.

But I REALLY REALLY wanted to believe it was only 12 carbs, sigh.

BTW, my multi-posting was not an attempt at trolling, though I can
understand why some here might think it was, and I certainly understand your
removing RSFC from your reply (not that you need my approval, of course). I
frequent both newsgroups, but I mostly lurk here while I mostly live there,
and I made my original in both newsgroups (without multi-posting) well over
a year ago.

Regarding portion control, sigh, yes... while I knew -of- it, I abhor it,
but I also understand that I need it, and that's exactly a major topic at
the MOVE meetings. I even got this nifty plate that shows "proper" portion
control, like meat the size of a playing card (or more specifically, a
deck). I pointed out to the dietician that that plate said that meat should
"cover one quarter of the plate" but while the plate was quartered, that
deck of cards didn't come ANYWHERE NEAR covering the quarter of a plate.

My hats are off to those of you who have mastered portion control, who can
eat a half (or even quarter) bagel, who can eat a fraction of an apple, etc.
Sheesh, it's like trying to eat one Lay's Potato Chip (fortunately NOT one
of the things I miss).

Now one potato chip is something I can easily eat. I don't normally eat
them. Don't really like them. But sometimes I will crave something salty.
I prefer the Limon chips but they are hard to find at times. I can just eat
one though. That's enough for me.
