I saw the episode where they went out shooting ducks at dusk. Looked very
diffficult.
More recently a programme on BBC had a chap shooting squirrels and cooking
them. The female presenter of the show turned up her, nose initially and
then tucked in.
Grey squirrels are a big problem here at the moment. They are native to
America , were introduced here in the Victorian period. They have
out-competed our native Red Squirrels and driven them into highly protected
reserves.
My neighbour was pleased at first to see grey squirrels frolicking in his
garden. when they started digging up his bulbs and plants he got into
murderous mood. From visitor to vermin in a few days.
