Well don't get too picky. As I used to test my blood glucose decades before I became a diabetic and I was always between 95 to 105. And I don't know if anybody who was harmed by numbers as high as 120. So I feel that is okay, even up to 130 once in awhile I don't think harms anybody. And I don't know how well you can handle lows, but I can handle in the high 60's just fine. So for me, I keep my BG between 65 to 130 and I'm happy. I check my blood glucose 2 to 12 times a day. Average is more like 3 to 4 times a day. Some days it is totally predictable and some days I have to keep a very close eye on it to keep it within the range I like.
Bill,
I remember testing my BG a few times when the meters were a new thing. My BG was always very close to 100. However, I remember I was also eating a high carb diet at the time.
So, I guess the question is, will a high carb diet cause a healthy person (no T2) to exhibit BG levels that are not that good for you.
