The low fat diet isn't supported by science. The women's health
initiative showed low fat diets are a total failure for weight loss,
coronary heart disease and those cancers that are affected by diet.

sorry for not making myself clear.What I meant is the western style high fat
diet, not the high-fat diet where "high" means a proportion of the energy
content.The "Susan type" high fat diet :)

What works best for me is a low calorie diet.My diet is high in fiber,
moderately high in protein and fat.But all as a % of energy.

The western type diet is high in fat, but also high in calories.Devoid of
nutrients and very energy dense.An energy dense diet is know to cause weight
problems....
