Anyone else had one of these ear infections that wouldn't die? I
remember the poster named Auntie Dana who had a really bad one. The
ENT and my Endo. said they are very common in diabetics. ENT said
she saw a man who had one for 15 years. Yikes!
Fortunately, I've only had minor ear aches a couple of times, no
infections, but I know they can be beastly to get rid of, and quite
painful. I wish you the best with it.
My 14 yr old and my 14 yr old grandson both picked up ear infections
recently from swimming in a creek on my daughter's getaway farm. Her
partner - a diabetic - also got a badly infected leg. There are nasties in
creeks and rivers etc that can cause all kinds of infections, daughter had a
stomach bug that lingered for months and ended up having stool testing and
found it was a bug common in dirty rivers etc.
