My brother had h.p he did have reflux...that is why they tested him for it...put him on antibiotics and the bacteria is gone as is his reflux.

Were you tested for helicobacter pylorii?
That is the bacteria that causes ulcers and it too can cause those symptoms.
It is subtle and only apparent from it's occasional
symptoms. I had no idea I had it or why I had odd gastro
symptoms over many years until my new doc tested me for it
shortly after he also discovered the CLL and type 2.
A 28-day course of antibiotics sorted it out completely.
