By any chance are you on diuretics, I sometimes get those toe and

I'm not the SHOUTING OP, but not only do bananas spike my BG, my
potassium is already too high.

i just gotta tell you ,
that shouting thing died about 10 years ago ,
posting subject lines in capital letters is a common practice ,
in a lot of news groups these days , i hope you don't find ,
the fact that i post subject lines in capitals too terribly detrimental to ,
your over all health and well being because i'm likely to ,
continue doing it that way as i have for the last 18 years

Actually, the CAPS = SHOUTING is still widespread. It may have died
within your circle of aquaintances or on some other newsgroups, but it
is still considered the standard on all the newsgroups I read.

The other thing is this - it is actually more difficult for most
people to read all caps than it is for them to read small letters.
Most people do not have to go letter by letter when reading words -
they actually recognize words in a single glance by their overall
shape. But when the word is in ALL CAPS the shape of the word is
"wrong" and they have to actually look at all the letters
individually.

Now of course, if ALL CAPS comes into standard usage then people will
learn to recognize the new shapes of words and reading speeds will go
back up. But in these circles that has not happened, not anywhere
close.

And of course, your use of a small i runs into the same problem for
words like "I" and "I'm". The shape of "i" and "i'm" is wrong for
most people, so they don't automatically recognize the word by its
shape and it slows them down. It also comes off as being
discourteous. You make your typing easier (whether ALL CAPS or all
small) at the cost of making everybody else do more work reading it.

Maybe on instant messaging and such it's standard to use all caps, but
not in newsgroups.
