Hi Quentin,

I have a siimilar situation to you - cancer in the lungs and
liver. I've been through the operations cycle and then the chemo
and in reality achieved nothing. I am currently letting nature
take its course and the current prognostication is march next
year.

I came to the conclusion that there was little to gain from
worrying myself over the cancer - I would be better served by
enjoying to the max whatever time remains. The date that the
quacks give you is just a guess, based on people with similar
problems that they have seen before, BUT IT IS STILL A GUESS.

Instead of getting all morose about the life cut short use the
time remaining to renew friendships, doing whatever makes you
happy and take holidays. Be positive in your attitude. You
never know - it may actually extend your life a little.

My husband lived over a year after a prognostication of less
than six months......................just by being stubborn.
Gave him plenty of time to 'clean up' all those personal odds
and ends we all accumulate through life.

All the best.
Hope you can find plenty to smile about each day.

Dorothy
