We DO orbit the sun............. The earth and the sun both orbit
their system's centre of gravity which happens to be within the
sun.

Those two sentences of yours contradict each other. Don't you
understand that ?

You do realise your first post on this was totally wrong "The Earth

1. (disregarding Michelle's mistaken use of circled - your second
comment in that sentence shows you understand what she meant and was
stating it was wrong) The earth DOES orbit (or "circle" to explain
it loosely).

2. The earth and the sun DO NOT orbit the centre of gravity of the
solar system. Each planet has its own orbital connection to the sum
according to where the centre of gravity is between them. The centre
of gravity for the earth-sun connection is within the sun. Take a
look at an animation of the sun and the earth orbiting. because of
where the centre of gravity is the orbit of the sun is way different
to that of say Pluto. You will see that the earth does orbit the
centre of gravity as well as orbiting the sun.

When I asked for a cite proving the earth didn't orbit the sun you
gave me cites that disproved your claim and totally proved mine. As
I said, I don't see your point of argument - which was "the Earth
doesn't circle the sun".
