I had to stop taking Actos due to swelling of the feet and ankles.
Now, the swelling is coming back, although mostly in my left foot
and ankle, so it's about time for my doctor to check for other
possible causes.

Drainpipe trousers.

A tap on the knee.

Seriously though, there are a lot of potential causes, being 93 seems
to be a major one, mother's heart and kidneys are gradually failing
but for some reason one ankle retains a lot more water than the other.

By changing her dose of bumetanide we are able to move it around her
body, and since the doctor increased that she's discovered her BP has
dropped radically and has halved her felodipine: I currently have the
job of monitoring her BP and her diastolic is nailed at 65 but her
systolic is going from 115 to 145 and back.

That sounds pretty encouraging. At this point I just want them to find
the cause and how to get rid of it. The doctor did increase my lasix.
I am not taking 2 first thing in the morning and 1 four hours later. I
seem to be going to the bathroom more often, but haven't noticed any
improvement yet. Right now I wouldn't care if the put plastic pipe in
there with a spigot on the outside. At least my rapid weight gain has
slowed and almost stopped.
