I had a mug of strong tea, with about a tablespoon of low fat milk. I used
to drink the tea heavily sweetened, but since a couple of weeks ago, I have
deep sixed the sugar. I have yet to find an artificial sweetener that
tastes OK to me - so unsweetened tea is my second choice and I'm learning to
enjoy it.
I appreciate the comments about the fruit. But I'm first going to try
taking meds on an early am trip to the bathroom, and eating breakfast on
arising.
I am so carb-intolerant at breakfast that I had to change to
black coffee or black tea; if I add dairy it is a dollop of
real cream (no carbs) in the coffee.
I cannot handle more than a half-portion of fruit (a
half-apple or equivalent) at any time before the evening
meal.
YMMV.
Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.
