My dad totally reversed his pre diabetes, which was almost in the

The doctor was planning on giving him medicine but my dad didn't
want to take it since he figured he was already taking too much
medicine for other things. To both of their surprise, he was able
to dramatically lower his blood sugar in under 2 months.
Here is a good website to explain how that works:

Preaching to the choir, Scott.

Not quite; a bit heavy on the grains and carbs.

Lol, I didn't read it. Just pointing out that suggesting diet and exercise
to this group is preaching to the choir :) I guess some people don't think
we can come up with that kid of solution all by ourselves.

I did. It looked reasonable until I got to the final
sentence below; I stopped there:

"Good and bad dietary choices for the prevention of diabetes

The most important thing to keep in mind when eating is to
control your blood sugar. A relatively stable blood sugar is
essential in preventing or reversing diabetes.

Make sure you read this article before moving on. Diabetes

Good dietary choices:

1. Whole grains (brown rice, whole grain pasta, unprocessed
oatmeal) , legumes, fruits (not so many bananas),
vegetables,"
