I have crappy veins and they always tell me to drink a lot of water before
I come in because it will "plump up" the veins.

If I were you, I would make sure that I was drinking enough water. tht
woudl be the first thought. Other than that, no ideas.

I am taking warfarin to thin my blood and I have to get it tested every
month.
Next month before I go to the lab I'll drink an extra glass or two of
water to see if that makes any significant difference in the thinness of
my blood.
