If you keep taking all that insulin and all those carabs, you may well find that you are gaining weight. Insulinoften does that, as covering a fairly high cab level tht gets used by the insulin, can add ounds. I don't think tht is wht you want to happen.

I think your diabetic nurse believes in hig cab/low fast aas a way of eating adn is giving you an insulin level to do thtat. aAsk her if you can trylower carb with, ultimatly, less insulin. It might work for you and keep the weight better

the dietician.......... 250 to 300 grams of carbs a day

most of us (who need to lose weight) 60 to 100 grams of carbs a day.....
