Sparkpeople is a GREAT exercise resource - but a pretty crap nutrition
one. There are indeed some tissues in the body that use glucose -
around 120g per day. However, your liver is perfectly capable of
making 200+g per day, so you'd be in no danger from too few carbs even
if you tried to eat none at all. Nutritionally, of course, it would be
disastrous - so you need to eat plenty of green, leafy veg plus enough
protein, to cover the bases.
