I may crack the champagne the day I can finally call the Pro-Maid

people.

bj

I think that would be wonderful bj. I think they're called Merry
Maids
here, but in the meantime I'm the charwoman. :-)

We have lots of such companies around here. But I don't think the
local MMs
are anything like the ones in the TV ads -- ours are more likely to
be
Hispanic, & I doubt that they go around singing & dancing while
they work.
(Do people really think hired cleaners behave like the TV MMs???)
:-)

Those companies do a pretty crappy job for more money than most
cleaners
charge, IME.

I've found, repeatedly, that the best job is done by someone whose
pay
is determined by how well s/he does the job and who are paid every
penny
of what the job is worth, not a small hourly wage by someone else.

The same person comes every time, does what I ask, we have a
relationship and I trust her completely in my home, same as the last
one, with whom I and my family are still friends.

Yes, if I did have someone coming in, it would be the same person, and
it wouldn't be a maid service, but for now...I'm it. At least I'm able
to determine my salary and my hours. ;-)
