I don't bother. You'll notice that many of also keep using the same
lancet for weeks or months. I use mine until it stops feeling
comfortable.

I explained to a newby how to adjust his soft-clix a couple
of days ago; I played with mine while doing that, to check
on the full range of adjustments:
..1.2.3.4.5.
Next time I tested I got a helluva shock and felt like I had
speared myself so I changed the lancet. As I did that I
realised that I had accidentally left it on 5; I usually
have it on minimum, sometimes 1.
