That could mean that the popups are sometimes not from any of
your Trusted Sites, and therefore blocked by your new setting.
The only one that has concerned me is the one that occurred while
going to my own site. I thought it had something to do with my
website.
That now seems unlikely. The ISPs DNS seems a more likely suspect.
There's even the possibility of the ISP providing the popups. The
only thing that leads me to rather strongly doubt that is the person
who reported a girlie picture. That I don't believe. Think about the
implications of a major ISP company providing that.
Years back I spent some time doing literature searches for Industry NZ
which meant I spent a lot of time on the net. I invested in software
that blocks popups and a couple of other things. By going around with
all three blocked meant I've had fewer problems. What I frequently
see when visiting commercial sites collecting information to answer
some question or others is green messages from my software saying,
Popup Blocked etc .
I have three choices, Popups blocked, Trusted Sites Only, Popups
Allowed. Unlike other folks software I always get a message if my
software blocks a popup etc At the moment I'm not getting any when
visiting my site.
Best wishes,
