G'day G'day Folks,
An old friend emailed to say that they had stopped following ASD
some time back because their ISP had stopped providing user group
(newsgroup) access.
I suggested trying one of those free ISP that some of you use.
Which have you found give good service that you'd recommend
and which don't?
Best wishes,
I've been using http://news.datemas.de/e since Ratty put me
onto it when news.individual.net became no longer free.
No problems.

page.
I don't use one, but I've read recommendations for this one for
people who prefer to have many of the spammers and trolls
blocked out:
http://www.motzarella.org/
And this one for people who prefer to have nothing blocked out:
http://www.teranews.com/
This one seems to be having problems running well:
http://news.aioe.org/
I've found this more complete list of which ones are available:
http://www.newsservers.net/index.php
There's also this one, which carries all the newsgroups whose
names start with microsoft.public., but as far as I can tell,
nothing else. These are also known as the Microsoft
Communities for discussing various Microsoft products.
