Visit to Endo.

I went today but from the brief visit, I gather that there was no need to go
all the way out there and it could have been done over the phone. Grrr...
No labs or anything like that was done. He said I am on the right track but
that the insulin to carb ratio was wrong. You would think the nurse would
have known this. Wouldn't you?

So now I am to have 4 units of Novolog (instead of 3) per serving of carb
and an additional 1 unit for every 30 points (that's the same) and to up the
Lantus to 50 units. He said the other option was to put me on Smylin (sp?),
but that less than thrilled me since it too is injected.

I hit a vein last night and boy did it spurt, and hurt. Had to do two shots
because the pen was running out. Took me about 10 minutes to work up to the
other shot after that. I really didn't want to do it.

He also wants me to test 2-3 times a week after eating in addition and mail
him the results. Gotta call and get more test strips. Grrr... Always
something.
