: Larry,

: I only weigh in on Fridays. It's not all going to fall off overnight.

: Standing on a scale everyday is just futile, imho.

: You're headed in the right direction. Good luck reducing!

: I started reducing at 247lbs in May 2007 after gout attacked me. Then
: diabetes attacked me in November 2007 (I didn't have a clue).

: Eat as natural as you can and skip the saturated fats in favor of the mono-
: unsaturated kind when you can.

: Best,

: Andy

That is a ubjective matter. For me, a daily visit to the scale keeps my
weight level.

I don't see a problem with stepping on the scale once per day, or even
more. It's of no concern to me that some folks think it's futile, or
(as some folks have told me) counterproductive. It's not as if I panic
and starve myself if the scale shows a few pounds increase. Seeing the
daily numbers just makes me feel good, and if anything, reduces my
stress by reassuring me. I could step on it once per week, but I have
no reason to limit my weighings; no reason at all.
