Different labs have different reference ranges, and sometimes the
difference in reference ranges can be as much as 1.0. There are two
Labcorp labs in my area, one has a reference range of 4.2 to 5.3 and
the other has a reference range of 4.9 to 5.9.
So, unless you know the reference range, the number after the decimal
point in your A1C's doesn't have a lot of deep meaning.
Which is why my Endo. doesn't pay much mind to that other lab.

now, the message you are replying to contains no quote characters (">"
in the left margin) for the text of the poster of the message you are
replying to.
As you can see above, there is only one level of quote character for
your post and Tim's. It's hard to figure out where your answer begins
and the other ends.
