How about portion sizes? Excess calories will also drive up your lipids.

Yeah... I prolly could do some work there too...

When I mentioned 6 eggs, that was for three of us. So, my breakfast
might be scrambled eggs, 2 whites, 1 yolk + 2 slices bacon (center cut).
But that's not very common. I'm much more likely to have a whole wheat
english muffin + some butter alternative which is a bit better on some
of the numbers (I forget which brand but I get it at Whole Foods).

I don't know if it's available where you are, but up here, we can get
a product that looks and tastes (mostly) like bacon, but is made from
turkey. It has far fewer calories and tastes pretty good.

As for margarine, if you have a brand called Becel, they now make a
product called "mega3plus" that tastes about the same as their other
margarines.

Numbers are:

Per 2 tsp (10 g)
Calories 70
Total fat 8 g
Saturated 1 g
Trans 0 g
PolyUnsat 2.5 g
Omega-6 1.5 g
Omega-3 0.6 g
MonoUnsat 4.0 0

Carbs, chol, sodium, protein are all 0

Vitamin A 10% Daily value
D 30%
E 15%
