You mean, Alan "King of the Disagree With Me and I Go Batshit On you"
S.? That Alan?

Lovely.

Maybe you're right, at least I've got supplies at the moment
with a backyard full of bloody enormous noisy Fruit Bats
(Flying Foxes)at night eating the palm fruit. I wish I could
transmit it through usenet at times; smelly, bright orange
and sticky...

You know the strange thing, Kurt? That place you promote
here so often has become a place I spend a bit of time in
now. This is the place I mean:
http://community.diabetes.org/n/forumIndex.aspx?webtag=adaindex

When I have the time I also shamelessly promote Jennifer's
advice and my "Getting Started" page to every newby I see
there because I honestly believe it's the best advice I can
offer them. Strangely, they let me continue. Some even say
thanks:-)

The "Recently Diagnosed" board is for all types, but we tend
to respect the unwritten rule that each type welcome their
own newbies or only offer general across-types advice if
appropriate.

It seems a little odd that you promote it at every
opportunity but I've never seen you there.

Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.
