I've just been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Im a black male, 33
years old, a little over weight. The Dr wants me to go a echo test
and a stress test. Is this normal after a diabetes diagnoses?


I had to do the same thing. My doctor just wanted a baseline to see where my heart was at so they would be able to know if changes were occurring.

Wear comfortable tennis shoes for your stress test...not heels like I did! LOL
