I just can't wrap my mind around the idea of fish for breakfast.

What? ... not even a kipper or two ?

Actually, I can't wrap my mind aorund the idea of kippers at ANY time.

I was caught in a typhoon at sea once. 125 Knot winds. When we went to
breakfast my mother said not eat anything but very bland food. An English
couple at the next table ordered kippers. I finished breakfast with
difficulty thanks to the kippers, but I never missed a meal during the whole
storm. We never saw the English couple for 5 days after the kipper
breakfast. I haven't been too fond of kippers ever since and I used to like
them.
