I am not sure if you are even ready for that or any site that I know of.

of course first you should have the OK from your doctor and a personal
trainer that sees you in person
is the best choice but I have been working out on and off since about the
age of 12 and have always had a weight bench and free weights handy.

would you mind answering some questions.

Of course

Have you ever done exercise?
Most of my life

how long has it been?
Every day..

how far do you cycle?
10 to 20 miles at least 5 times a week. Most days I do 11 miles, as
that is into-town-and-back-again

how
old are you?

51

are you very over weight?

Was rather, but not now. 135 pounds or so and 5 ft 2-1/2 so BMI
around 24. Still losing gently..

how many hours a day do you spend sitting down?

I sit for work (at a sewing machine) but my workspace is designed to
keep me moving as I get very stiff otherwise. I get up and down a lot
and walk around between tables and ironing board. Tend to walk about
to talk on the phone too. I work as much as possible standing up as it
is better ergonomically.

These things may not seem important but I feel they are.

Such good questions!

I have taught martial arts for many years (Shaolin Kungfu amongst
others) but I am finding it hard to train this year. I have been Type
2, prednisolone-induced, since April; as I have been measuring BG
levels for a while I know exactly when..I had a hamstring injury in
July (grade 3 partial tear of the hamstring connector) which is now
pretty much healed but was very painful for a while on walking.
Consequently I tend to cycle and not walk (my physio tells me not to
"walk" as exercise). My GP knows nothing about exercise, but I have a
very good physio and a martial arts teacher with much experience.

I need a programe with variations to do around 3 or 4 times a week. I
suspect that it will be much more of a winter activity than a summer
one, as I really dislike being indoors when I can get out...

Many thanks for all your time and care
