Hi guys,Treadmills are great. I enjoy walking on mine at a slow to moderate pace
On Diana asking me how the treadmill saga was going, I explained that the
replacement has arrived but I had yet to put it together.
Anyway, on the motivation of guilt (!), I spent the last hour (with the
help of my strapping 16 year old son) setting it up. We played loud,
dancy, music and had a boogey around while reading the instructions.
Then, on a test run on the new treadmill, I spent 10 mins on a slow speed.
I checked my bg after and it was...... wait for it....
5.7 (102.6).
Now THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the LOWEST I think I have EVER been
since diagnosis!!
while listening to music on my walkman.
Having something to do while using a treadmill really does it for me.
I picked up a portable DVD player, and watch that while using the
treadmill. I find that one episode of "Router Workshop" or "Joy of
Painting" is just about right for walking a half mile.
