Pretty sure. Carotene content is correlated with omega3s.

I've never seen anything that would suggest a correlation. That's not
to say it doesn't correlate, of course.

Veggies sources of omega3s... flax, other oils, nuts, etc. They ate
kitchen garbage, so had a lot of that stuff.

Can't say I know how much might be in the various grasses and weeds
around here. I do know animals rased on pasture have a lot more omega3s
in their meat, so sort of assume that works for the eggs too.

I wonder if insects have much of the animal sort of omega3s - my
chickens LOVED bugs. Nothing thrileld them so much as turning over a
piece of rotted wood full of bugs.

Possible. When the grasshoppers get plentiful, it's a hoot to watch
the hens gobble them up. Watching hens chase other hens with a big
hopper hanging out of the beak is entertainment you couldn't buy.
