I
had to quit taking the niacin while I was pregnant because of the
flushing
it caused. I found that I had to eat a ton of food at the time I took
the
niacin or I would get the painful flushing.

Did you read the third link?

After reading up on the "non-flush version (Inositol Hexaniacinate) is
worthless" sections in the links you posted I'm thinking that maybe I
should give the standard version another chance. However, while the
non-flush version may not help with cholesterol levels, it does seem
to help the body adjust. The (faily low) dose of regular niacin that
had caused flushing in me did not cause flushing after I had been
taking the non-flush version for a while and then switched back as a
test. So I'm planning to increase the dose and see if the flushing
returns (and if so, at what dose).

I tried to post this before but for some reason it bounced back to me. I did
try what they said. To drink lots of water. Did not help me with the
flushing at all. Only massive amounts of food did that.
