Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed type2 1 week ago, and asked for help in alt/food/
diabetic.
I got alot of good advice , and Susan pointed out to me today that I
was in the
wrong room posting :).

I know little about diabetes, except for the responses on my post.
If you would all kindly give me your input on what I have alread
posted in the other chat room. (if you have the time to read it, I
would greatly appreciate
any feed back that you have.)
Is there anything I can take to make me quit being so extremely tired?
I already take extra Vitamin D, calc, Mega liquid vitamins, B12.

Thanks,
Trish

<*waving*> Hey, Trish, you made it over!

I think that the tiredness will improve once you get off the hypos
roller coaster.

You might want to use some NuSalt or other potassium supplement (if
you're not on anything it interacts with) at first when you cut carbs,
just a few sprinkles a day should help. When you excrete water bloat
with low carbs, potassium and magnesium go along with it, and the
potassium loss can leave you feeling weak, achey and spacey.

That is so true Susan.
Without suppliments I am a mess - my aches and pains have aches and
pains:)
