A few weeks ago I sat in the sun a little too long wearing a wide
necked T-shirt. AS a result I acquired a mild sunburn on upper arms
and then in a swathe along the length of my collar bones, more on the
left side than the right.
Despite appaently being only a mild sunburn, it seemed to get
progressively worse instead of better. It ended up being profoundly
itchy and the skin developed a kind of weepy horny scaling. I've
sometimes had small patches of that now and then before in my life,
but they've always been minor and brief, so I've just looked on it as
some kind of transient skin infection like the little tiny blisters I
sometimes get on my fingers in the summer.
But this time instead of getting better it got worse and worse.
In fact after doing some googling it sounds and looks remarkably like
psoriasis. What's more, psoriasis seems often to be associated with
cardiovascular probolems, diabetes, and arthritis, all of which I
have. And like all the others it's mysterious and incurable.
So now I've got psoriasis too have I got the complete happy family
set? :-)
As for treatment, the fact the web is full of instant magic natural
cures suggests to me that whatever I do probably won't work unless
mercury is retrograde and I spin round widdershins under the light of
a gibbous moon :-)
Anyone got any advice?
Would be concerned that your rash from sun exposure is more related to
lupus.
Would therefore suggest you inform your doctor about it so that
appropriate testing would be done.
May GOD bless you in HIS mighty way making you healthier (hungrier)
than ever.
Prayerfully in Jesus' awesome love,
Andrew <><
