(my mothers age at her demise) would be a real feat
these days although, life expectancy is supposed to be
close to 84 for women and abt 78 for men

My experience is opposite. My father went at 56.

However, Mum is somewhere south of Townsville, wandering
"solo" in her motorhome on the way back from the Northern
Territory, Kakadu and other places in the remote North.

She is 83.
