I'm an aging mother. Does that count for anything?
Hats off to a real man !
My father is 87 and still going, but not very far, I'm afraid.
How about others' aging fathers ?

Hi Frank,
That reminds me of a true story about my father, soon to be 84... This
Spring he was voted by the readership of the small town newspaper in the
place where he grew up, and to which he has retired, as the "Man of the
Year".... When my brother, sisters, and I were invited to submit remarks
to
be published upon the great occasion, my brother submitted a piece stating
that our father had no enemies, as he "has outlived them all"....
There are some perks that come with elder years, it seems, especially if
one
remains robust and fully in possession of his faculties..... Already this
year, he has been to Cancun, Miami, Palm Beach, Boulder, Charleston, SC,
and
now this month, he will be travelling to Virginia Beach and Wash. DC...
