Today, we went out shopping for clothes - BABY clothes .
I have to say to non-regular readers of my posts that our baby is
due in December .. there is a big box in our living room with tons
of 'baby loot' ... and I pay for it and I get to play with none of it ..
yet.
I am amazed the technology you can throw money at to soothe the
inner self of one's spouse!
Still, we did get a couple of sober maternity dresses that were badly
needed (I've heard "Does my tummy show yet?" for 6 weeks now and
she's 14 weeks pregnant)
I got a simple meal in an Italian restaurant 'fully expecting my BG to
go up - due to all the walking & perspiration, it actually went down
compared to my after-breakfast measure, so maybe I am rewarded for
my patience, forbearance and suffering ?
